Jeju Aerospace Museum
The Jeju Aerospace Museum was founded upon the ideas of presenting the visions of the aerospace industry, enhancing the understanding of aerospace technology, and providing educational opportunities to the public. Using cutting-edge technology and multimedia experiences, it provides educational programs alongside various interesting hands-on installations. It gives hopes and dreams regarding the sky and space to our future leaders.
The Jeju Aerospace Museum will introduce the work of Nam June Paik, organizer of the world’s first live satellite show, Good Morning, Mr. Orwell. Nam June Paik, the founder of video art, frequently used televisions as a material in his art works and was a pioneer who made the leap into space for the art world. Even in the rational world of the West, symbolized by technology, he didn’t miss out on the spiritual values of the East. This exhibition, featuring his work Turtle, presents a rare opportunity to see one of his large works in Jeju.
